Introduction
Caribbean Stud Poker with JackpotTM is a fast, fun, and easy to learn Stud Poker game. After seeing your full hand and one of the Dealer's cards, you decide whether or not to raise your wager to go head-to-head against the Dealer.
The game also offers an exciting Side Bet Bonus - get a Flush, Full House, or Four-of-a-Kind and you win big. Get a Straight Flush or Royal Flush and you win really big with an ever-growing Jackpot award.
How To Play
Start by placing an Ante wager and, if you wish, a Side Bet Bonus wager as well. (See How to Wager for more details.)
After you have completed your initial wagering, click the DEAL button. Both you and the Dealer receive 5 cards. All five of your cards are dealt face up, only one of the Dealer’s cards is dealt face up, the remaining four are dealt face down. Now you must decide whether to raise your wager to challenge the Dealer, or whether to fold your hand. If you click the RAISE button or click the Bet circle, you initiate a wager of twice your Ante to be placed in the Bet circle - after raising, your hand is compared against the Dealer’s. If you click the FOLD button, you forfeit your Ante and end that game.
Playing Against the Dealer
If you choose to raise, then the Dealer's hand is revealed and examined. The Dealer needs to have an Ace and a King, or a higher Poker outcome to qualify for head-to-head comparison against your hand. If the Dealer does not qualify, you win 1 to 1 on your Ante wager and your Bet wager is returned. This payout occurs whether or not your hand is actually better than the Dealer's.
If the Dealer qualifies, then the best hand wins. If the Dealer has the best hand, you lose your Ante and your Bet wagers. If you have the best hand, you win 1 to 1 on your Ante wager and also win on your Bet wager. Your Bet wager payout is based upon your Poker hand relative to the main pay table. If the hands match exactly, then it is a push and your Ante and Bet wagers are returned.

Side Bet Bonus
To be eligible for the Side Bet Bonus, you must place an Ante wager and make a one-credit Side Bet Bonus wager before the cards are dealt.
If you are dealt a Flush or better, you automatically win! Get a Flush, Full House or Four-of-a-Kind and win the amount listed on the Side Bet Bonus pay table at the top left corner of the playing field.
Get a Straight Flush and win the award displayed in the top right Jackpot meter, which is 10% of the Jackpot.
Get a Royal Flush and win the award displayed in the top left Jackpot meter, which is 100% of the Jackpot.
Unlike the main game, the Side Bet Bonus payouts are independent of the Dealer's hand. The Dealer does not need to qualify in order for you to win the Side Bet Bonus. In addition, your hand does not need to beat the Dealer's in order for you to win the Side Bet Bonus.
If you win a Jackpot award with a Straight Flush or a Royal Flush, this award is credited to your account only after the casino verifies the win.
While a Jackpot win is being verified, the game will become temporarily inactive until a new Jackpot starting amount is established.
How To Wager
To play Caribbean Stud Poker with Jackpot, you must make an Ante wager. Select a chip value by clicking a chip at the bottom of the playing field. The chip you select is displayed in a raised position. To place your Ante, click the Ante spot on the table. Each time you click, you place one chip on the table. Your Ante wager must be at least as large as the table minimum limit and cannot exceed the table maximum limit. Also, your remaining balance must be large enough to cover twice your Ante wager.
To place a Bet wager to challenge the Dealer's hand, click the RAISE button or click the Bet circle. Placing a Bet wager automatically makes a wager twice the value of your Ante wager.
To place the optional Side Bet Bonus wager, click the Side Bet Bonus coin drop. This is always a one-credit wager regardless of the selected chip value.
After placing a Side Bet Bonus and clicking the DEAL button, the wager drops into the Side Bet Bonus coin drop, and the green light on the coin drop lights up, indicating that you have successfully placed this wager.
To remove a wager before the cards are dealt, press and hold the SHIFT key and then click the wager. To remove all wagers, click the CLEAR button.
If you wish to repeat your last wager after completing a game, click the REBET button. This restores your previous Ante wager, and, if one was placed, your previous Side Bet Bonus wager as well. If you wish, you can adjust your Ante wager and/or your Side Bet Bonus wager. You still need to click the DEAL button to initiate play.
The DOUBLE BET button doubles your current Ante wager every time you click it. If doubling your current Ante wager would exceed the table maximum limit, then the DOUBLE BET button is not available. If you click the DOUBLE BET button when no wager is yet placed, this is equivalent to first clicking the REBET button and then the DOUBLE BET button and results in the placing of an Ante wager that is twice as large as your prior Ante wager. You still need to click the DEAL button to initiate play.
Other Controls
The TURBO button quickens the pace of play by eliminating certain animations, such as the dealing of the cards. It does not change the method of play or the rules of the game. When Turbo is on, the button is highlighted in red. You can turn the Turbo feature on or off by clicking the TURBO button.
The Side Bet Bonus pay table is located on the top left corner of the playing area. To examine this pay table, move your cursor over this area for a larger view. You can also see this information in the full pay table by clicking the corresponding button in the Game Console on the right side of the screen.
Comparing Poker Hands
If two hands have different outcomes, the hand with the outcome higher on the outcome list wins (see Poker Hand Rankings).
If the two hands have the same outcome, for example, if both hands hold a Pair, then the stronger of the outcomes wins.
For One Pair, Three-of-a-Kind, and Four-of-a-Kind outcomes, the hand with the highest match rank wins. For example, a Pair of Kings beats a Pair of 10s.
For a Two Pair outcome, the hand with the higher high Pair wins. For example, a hand consisting of 3-3-8-8 beats a hand consisting of 5-5-7-7, since the high Pair of 8s beats the high Pair of 7s. Similarly, if the high Pair is the same, then the low Pair is compared. For example, a 5-5-J-J beats a 3-3-J-J because the high Pair matches and the low Pair of 5s beats the low Pair of 3s.
For a Full House, the hand with the higher Three-of-a-Kind wins. For example, 8-8-8-K-K beats A-A-5-5-5 because the three 8s beat the three 5s.
When comparing Straight, Flush, or Straight Flush hands, the hand with the higher high card wins. For example, a 7-8-9-10-J Straight beats a 6-7-8-9-10 Straight. Likewise, a 7-8-9-10-J Straight beats an A-2-3-4-5 Straight because the Jack high card beats the 5 high card.
If the winning outcomes are the same between two hands, then the remaining cards in the hand are examined. For example, 5-3-3-8-8 beats 4-3-3-8-8 because, while the high and low Pairs both match, the remaining 5 beats the 4.
Likewise, 2-9-J-8-8 beats 4-5-J-8-8. The Pair of 8s match, as do the high card Jacks, but looking at the next highest cards, the 9 beats the 5.
Poker Hand Rankings
This list contains the possible Poker hand outcomes from highest to lowest. For two cards to have the same rank, they must have the same number (like two 8s) or the same picture (like two Queens).
Royal Flush: 10-Jack-Queen-King-Ace; all of the same suit.
Straight Flush: Five cards of consecutive rank; all of the same suit. For example, 4-5-6-7-8 of Hearts.
Four-of-a-Kind: Four cards with the same rank.
Full House: A combination of a Three-of-a-Kind and One Pair.
Flush: Five cards of the same suit.
Straight: Five cards of consecutive rank of mixed suits. Ace can be high (as in 10-J-Q-K-A) or low (as in A-2-3-4-5). Three-of-a-Kind: Three cards with the same rank.
Two Pair: Two sets of two cards, each set of the same rank.
One Pair: Two cards with the same rank.
High Card: Five unmatching cards.
Rules
A new, single deck is shuffled for each hand of play.
Malfunction voids all pays and play.
Awards are shown in credits.

Jackpot Award
The Jackpot size varies over time. The Royal Flush Jackpot starts out at a seed value contributed by the casino, and increases in size every time a player places a side bet wager on the game; the Straight Flush Jackpot size is always 10% of the Royal Flush Jackpot size.
This game, like all other games offered in this casino, is played over the Internet. The Internet is a communication medium that is known to be imperfect. Messages to or from the game and the casino servers may be lost or interrupted. If you have placed a stake on a game but have not started the game when you are disconnected - the game will never take place. Simply place your stake again on the game. If you have placed a stake and have started the game when you are disconnected - the game will still run and the bet will stand. You will be able to view the outcome of your game by reloading the game, which will display the last result.. You may also view the result in 'My Account' under your 'Account History'.
A Jackpot award is granted to the first player who earns either the Royal Flush or Straight Flush, as determined by the database timestamp associated with the completed transaction. It is not possible to have two transactions with identical database timestamps at completion of the game transaction.
In the event that the Jackpot is won, the game will become inactive and will not accept wagers until it is reactivated by the casino. The casino is under no obligation to reactivate the game. At the time of reactivation, the casino is under no obligation to re-seed the Jackpot with the amount of the previous seed or any other amount. In the event that the casino decides to terminate the game, or the game becomes permanently unavailable due to unforeseeable circumstances, the casino holds any funds remaining in the Jackpot.
In the event that the Straight Flush jackpot is won and awarded to a player, the funds are paid out of the Royal Flush jackpot; as a result, the size of the Royal Flush jackpot will be reduced.
Any player who has a game in progress (has been dealt cards and not yet completed the game) when another player wins either Jackpot can still complete their game before the game becomes inactive. A new Jackpot is created for such players. The casino is under no obligation to seed this Jackpot with the value of the previous Jackpot, the previous seed amount, or any other amount.
The casino may increase or decrease the size of the Jackpot award by contributing or removing money at any time.
