Our Review:
Beat the house by drawing cards until your hand is as close to 21 as possible without going bust (over 21). Draw an Ace and a picture card and you've got Black Jack!
How to play Table Blacjack:
Single Deck Blackjack is a game of Blackjack in which you try to beat the Dealer by accumulating a card total close to, but not over, 21 points.
To play Single Deck Blackjack, select a chip value by clicking a chip at the bottom of the playing field. The chip you select displays in a raised position. To place a bet, click the betting area on the felt. Each time you click, you place one chip on the table. After you place your bet, click the DEAL button.
You may bet up to the table maximum and must bet at least the table minimum. After your first hand, if you want to bet the same amount, click the REBET button and the bet from your previous hand will be staked.
To remove a bet from the table, either press the SHIFT key and click your chips on the felt, or click the CLEAR button.
After placing your bet, click the DEAL button to start play. You and the Dealer will both receive two cards. All face cards are worth 10, Aces are worth either 1 or 11, and all other cards are worth their face value. If you are dealt 21 on your first two cards, you have Blackjack! If the Dealer doesn't also have a Blackjack, then your Blackjack win is paid at 3 to 2. If both you and the Dealer have Blackjack, this is a push and you will get your initial wager back.
The card total is displayed on circular plaques adjacent to each hand. As cards are dealt to either hand, the plaque displays an updated card total. When your hand holds an Ace and the plaque flashes the card total and the word "Soft", the value displayed is based on counting the Ace as an 11 rather than a 1 (for example, a 5 and an Ace are shown as a Soft 16).
However, an Ace will not be counted as an 11 if that will cause a hand to bust. For example, if you have a 5 and an Ace (Soft 16) and you draw a 9, then the Ace will only be counted as a 1, giving you a hand value of 15 (5 plus 1 plus 9).
When comparing your hand versus the Dealer's hand, Aces will be evaluated such that they represent the highest possible hand value not exceeding 21.
If you don't get Blackjack, after your two cards have been dealt, you have the following options:
Hit - You request an additional card. You can continue to request additional cards until your total is 21 (automatic stop) or until you bust by receiving cards that exceed 21, in which case you lose automatically.
Stand - You request no further cards and will play this hand against the Dealer's hand.
Split - If you are dealt a pair of Aces, 2's, 3's, 6's, 7's, 8's, or 9's on your first two cards, you can split the cards into two hands. Click Split to split the pair and automatically place an additional bet on the second hand; play for each hand proceeds normally, but split pairs of Aces can receive only one additional card for each Ace. If you get a two-card 21 after a split, this is not a Blackjack.
Double Down - When your first two cards total 9, 10, or 11, you may click Double Down to automatically double your bet and receive one additional card.
Insurance - When the Dealer shows an Ace, you will be offered Insurance, which you can accept or decline. If you accept, this automatically places another bet equal to half of your original bet. If the Dealer does have Blackjack, the Insurance bet is paid 2 to 1, but you lose your original wager; unless you also have Blackjack, in which case your original wager is returned. If the Dealer does not have Blackjack, the Insurance bet is lost, and the hand is played out normally.
Rules - Player
Blackjack pays 3 to 2.
Double down is only possible on 2 cards that total 9, 10, or 11.
Only 1 split allowed (no re-splitting).
Player may double-down on either / both qualifying hands of a split.
Blackjack only possible on first two cards (not on split cards).
If Aces split, each Ace receives only one card.
If player gets 21, regardless of the number of cards, the player must automatically stand and will be required to click the Stand button to complete the hand.
Insurance, if accepted, will be at half of the initial wager.
Rules - Dealer
Dealer must hit on 16 or less.
Dealer must stand on all 17's.
Insurance offered when Dealer up-card is an Ace.

Dealer Blackjack ends play after the initial cards are dealt; player loses the original bet, unless player has Blackjack, in which case it is a push.
