Interactive Bingo Coming to a TV Near You
If you live in the UK and love bingo, then you're in for a real treat. Now, you can play live bingo from the comfort of your living room couch. In a bid to further expand its bingo operations, Gala Bingo has inked a deal to purchase an interactive games television channel, currently known as Avago.
The company feels that their new interactive bingo channel, to be dubbed Gala TV, will appeal to people who don't have the time or vehicular access to make the trip to a bingo hall and spend a whole evening there. Bingo players who want to access the live games will have to press the red button on their remote controls in order to start playing. Gala TV will also offer bingo junkies the opportunity to play other fun games via their television screens. While the channel will be offered for free to British cable viewers, only paid subscribers will be able to participate in the bingo games.
